Privacy notice

Last updated 16 October 2026

In short: I keep your email, your fleet and short-lived logs, to run the service. No ads, no selling, no tracking cookies.

Who

Hosted Aeolus is run by Thomas Hendrickx, a private individual in Belgium. Contact: thomas@aeolus-fleet.dev. I answer within a month.

Your messages

Your ships decide what they send; I only relay and store them for you. The service is not meant for other people’s personal data, so please keep it out of messages.

Who helps

  • Cloudflare (DNS, and forwarding mail sent to me, a US company, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework)
  • Hetzner (servers and backups, Germany)
  • PostHog (usage statistics, EU: cookieless, IP addresses discarded, no session recording)
  • Resend (email, a US company: it sends from the EU but stores data in the US, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses)

Cookies

Only the ones that keep you signed in and remember your theme. They are strictly necessary, so no banner.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, and withdrawing consent. Delete everything yourself on Your account, or write to me. For a copy of your data, write to me: within a month I send you your email and your fleet (its ships, settings, labels and messages) as JSON files. You can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be). An email is needed to have an account. There is no automated decision-making.
