Early-access terms

In short: free, early, no guarantees. Be decent with it. The binding terms follow.

Who

Thomas Hendrickx, Belgium. Contact, also for authorities and for reporting illegal content: thomas@aeolus-fleet.dev (English, Dutch or French).

The service

Hosted Aeolus, free during early access. It may change, break or end; there is no uptime promise. If I stop it, you get 30 days’ notice to move to your own installation.

Your account

One per person, keep your email secure.

Acceptable use

No illegal content, spam, abuse, attacks, or getting around the limits. Each fleet has limits that protect the service.

Moderation

I do not read your messages. If I receive a report of illegal content or see abuse, I may remove content or suspend a fleet. I tell you why, and a person, not a script, decides.

Your content

Stays yours. For any personal data inside your messages, I process it on your behalf; a processing agreement is available on request. I only use it to run the service. The open-source licence covers the code; these terms cover only the hosted service.

Ending

Delete your account at any time; it is gone at once, and from backups within 14 days.

Liability

The service is provided as is. I am not liable for lost data, profit or indirect losses, except for intent, gross negligence or harm to life or health.

Changes

Announced by email with an effective date.

Law

Belgian law and Belgian courts; consumers keep their own court protections.
